NCTA

These are the four letters that you want to see in the file name of a letter from the HCPC. They stand for No Case To Answer.

A paramedic I have been representing recently got such a letter after months of investigation by the HCPC, a referral to the Investigating Committee panel, further investigation and then a final referral to the panel.

This case concerned prescribing beyond the registrant’s prescribing powers on two occasions, with questions raised about the registrant’s risk assessments.

Because of the way we argued the case, and the registrant’s excellent input, a NCTA decision was achieved - music to my ears!

This is what we strive for here and clients can expect that we always push for the very best result that can be obtained.
